Elektron Digitone

The Digitone is a FM synthesizer from Elektron.

I picked a second-hand unit from a local store for a nice discount, repaired it, and it now works perfectly.

Firmware update

In order to update the firmware, the unit must be connected to a computer and the .syx file must be uploaded using the Elektron Transfer application.

However in order for the device to appear in the MIDI IN/OUT selectors of the app you must make sure that the unit is configured for USB MIDI, which can be done from the Settings menu of the synth.
